Santa Rosalia Lake & Life Resort is a new Resort located between the Mar Menor golf Resort and the beaches of Los Alcázares on the Costa Cálida. The closed complex comprises around 700,000 square meters with new properties that are being built around “La Reserva” where there is a lake with white sand beach areas, sports, beach bars etc.

The jewel of La Reserva, the ideal place to relax in the sun, cool off in its turquoise waters, do nautical activities, spend the day with family, have a beer with friends or taste Mediterranean cuisine. The Lake, with more than 16,000m2, is currently the largest artificial lake with crystal clear waters in Europe.

The Lake uses Crystal Lagoons technology, a world leader in
the conditioning for bathing, treatment and maintenance of large crystalline water surfaces. This technology is the most efficient known to date and allows the lake to be kept with half the amount of water intended for a park with the same surface area and 30 times less than that needed for an 18-hole golf course.

It operates in a closed circuit, purifying and reusing the same water, so it does not require renewal of the water resource beyond evaporation. Its efficient filtering system allows the use of up to 100 times less additives than in conventional systems. It only consumes 2% of the electrical energy used by a traditional filtration system.
