One of the jewels of this wonderful resort is its 18-hole golf course, the first 9 holes of MAR MENOR GOLF RESORT were designed by Dave Thomas and the last 9 holes by Nicklaus Design, with wide fairways and a great diversity of courses. There are many differences between the 2 parts of the course, the first round has fairways with small roughs and the second round, in typical Nicklaus style, has wide fairways and wide roughs that will allow for big shots. A special mention goes to the lake that surrounds holes 13, 14 and 15, making water the biggest obstacle to overcome, known by local players as the “prayer corner” of Mar Menor.
